Engineering

Expert in cabin thermal management, we have been designing and supplying air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, air filtration and pressurisation solutions for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) market and aftermarket (AM)since 1986. We work on a wide variety of interiors or cabins in multiple sectors.As an equipment manufacturer specialising in thermal management , we handle thermal comfort and air quality issues, from design to production, with solutions adapted to each customer project. Heat balance, airflow, simulation of temperature and de-icing, prototyping and testing, SNDC's R&D teams take into account the customer's requirements and norms of the harshest environments.

Test center

Prototype testing, in the definition of series, is an essential phase in the development of our standard solutions or specific solutions. Cabin heating and air-conditioning, window de-icing, pressurisation and air filtration efficiency, are some of the points tested by SNDC teams in application of standards specific to each environment and activity. SNDC has two test rooms that reproduce the most diverse climatic environments (temperature from 55°C to -35°C, hygrometric control and saturation, reproduction of sunlight).

It can accommodate large equipment (agricultural and public works machinery, industrial vehicles, etc.) in order to carry out performance tests in the harshest temperature, humidity and sunlight configurations in any geographical area.

Heating and de-icing test room

SNDC's unique heating and de-icing test room reproduces sub-zero temperatures down to -35°C, without requiring the energy input of the engine of the machine on which the cabin is installed. This allows the validation of the performance of the heating system, the quality and the time of window de-icing; the cabin heating system is coupled to a thermal generator that reproduces the flow and rise of the vehicle engine coolant. This eliminates external influences from the engine or hydraulic systems.
